Who we are

MilkoApp (“we”, “us”) is a hyperlocal dairy platform operated for milkoapp.in. This policy covers the MilkoApp customer app, Partner (dairy) app, Delivery app, and related websites/APIs.

Information we collect

Account: mobile number, name (optional), and authentication tokens. We verify phone numbers with one-time passwords (OTP).

Delivery: addresses, pincode, and optional device location used to find nearby dairies and complete deliveries.

Orders: products ordered, subscription preferences, delivery slots, payment method (cash on delivery today), and order status history.

Device: app lock PIN and biometric preference are stored on your device; we do not receive your PIN. We may store a device identifier to manage refresh tokens securely.

Partner / Delivery ops: shop profile details, product catalogue, and route/job information needed to fulfill orders.

How we use information

To create and authenticate your account, place and fulfill orders, and support subscriptions.

To show nearby dairies, estimate delivery context, and let shops and delivery partners complete routes.

To send transactional messages related to OTP login and order status (where messaging providers are configured).

To operate, secure, and improve the platform (fraud prevention, debugging, reliability).

Sharing

Your order and delivery details are shared with the dairy shop you choose and with assigned delivery partners so they can fulfill your order.

We use infrastructure and messaging providers as processors (for example hosting and OTP delivery). They process data only to provide those services.

We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We keep account and order records while your account is active and as needed for operations, support, and legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account by contacting us; some records may be retained where required (for example completed orders for dispute resolution).

Security

Access tokens are stored in platform secure storage on mobile devices. API traffic uses HTTPS in production. App lock (PIN / biometrics) protects the app on your device after login.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke location permission; nearby discovery then relies on address pincode where available.

You can skip biometric unlock and use PIN only, or sign out to clear the session on the device.

Contact us to update profile details or request account deletion.

Children

MilkoApp is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the apps if you are under the age required by applicable law without appropriate consent.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date below will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
